Cross Church Yokosuka is a gospel-centered, evangelical Baptist church rooted in the historic truths of the Protestant Reformation. Planted in 2019 by Yokohama International Baptist Church, we are a member of the Southern Baptist Convention — a connection that shapes our commitments to faithful preaching, cooperative missions, and the kind of disciple-making that outlasts any one congregation.／クロス・チャーチ横須賀は、プロテスタント宗教改革の歴史的真理に根ざした、福音を中核とする福音派バプテスト教会です。2019年に横浜国際バプテスト教会によって設立され、私たちは南部バプテスト連盟に加盟しています。このつながりが、忠実な説教、協力的な宣教、そしてどの教会よりも長く続くような弟子作りへの私たちの取り組みを形作っています。

We hold to the authority and sufficiency of God's Word as the foundation for everything we do. Scripture governs how we worship, how we teach, how we care for one another, and how we engage the city around us. Our calling has always been twofold: to serve the Japanese community of Yokosuka and the international community that calls this city home. That dual calling isn't incidental — it's baked into who we are as a bilingual church and into what we believe the gospel does. It crosses every boundary it meets. We give freely and love deeply because we've been given everything in Christ, who came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.／私たちの使命は、常に二つの側面から成り立っています。それは、横須賀の日本人コミュニティと、この街を故郷とする国際的なコミュニティに奉仕することです。この二重の使命は偶然のものではありません。それは、バイリンガルの教会としての私たちのあり方や、福音がもたらすものに対する私たちの信念に深く根ざしているのです。福音は、出会うあらゆる境界を越えていきます。私たちが惜しみなく与え、深く愛することができるのは、キリストにおいてすべてを授かっているからです。キリストは仕えられるためではなく、仕えるために来られ、多くの人の贖いとしてご自身の命を捧げられたのです。
