Corona Virus Update: Opening 14 June 2020
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The purpose of this message is to inform you that from tomorrow, 14 June 2020, Cross Church Yokosuka will hold regular services. As we reopen CCY will continue to take the following precautions. First, we will adhere to social distancing guidelines. We have separated the chairs in the sanctuary, and we request that mask be worn during worship. We have a limited number of mask available for those who do not have or forget to bring a mask to service. We also ask that guest refrain from greeting each other with physical contact. A verbal welcome will be the most loving welcome for many during this time.
Second, the children’s class will not be held during the service. However, the children’s area will be available for parents and children. We plan on informally engaging parents to see what their thoughts are on reopening the children’s class. If you are a parent, please let us know your thoughts on this issue by emailing email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
Third, food and coffee will not be available for fellowship following the worship service. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Although snacks and drinks will not be available you are welcome to stay and socialize.
We understand that many of you will not feel comfortable attending, so for that reason, we will continue to livestream the service on Facebook. If you are unable to watch the livestream, then please look for the video on Youtube later in the week, or you can listen to the podcast posted on our website.
Please know that all of you remain in our prayers. The time apart has been difficult, but it has been for God’s purpose. We hope to see you soon.
